About Self

I am a fun loving and spontaneous person, honest and caring, with a positive attitude to life. I also describe myself as rational, determined, hard-working, with a strong work ethic. My family and my career are very important to me as I believe they both play a big role in shaping who we are, our values and belief system, and how we live our lives.

I grew up in the US since the age of 7. Some fun facts about me are that I am scared of water yet mesmerized by sharks; love roller-coaster rides, and was a late bloomer-- learnt how to ride my bike when I was 13. I enjoy watching NBA playoffs and Netflixing. I like a mix of indoor and outdoor activities such as hiking, travelling to new places to enjoy nature, and learn about historical perspective and fun facts. I've recently taken up gardening in the summertime and grew my first tomato plants! I also enjoy going to the gym and focusing... more on health and fitness. I'm always willing to try new experiences and am looking for a companion to share them with.

Although I grew up in the US, I find myself well connected to my Indian roots and value system as well. You will often find me enjoying my downtime with family members, watching a Bollywood movie or listening to Bollywood music. I considerate myself to be a blend of American and Indian culture and have a moderate to liberal approach to life, which I pursue with an open-mindedness.

About Profession

I am very passionate about my profession as a Family Medicine Physician. I completed my undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, NJ; Medical school at SGU, followed by Residency training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. I currently practice a combination of out-patient and in-patient medicine with the Wellspan Health group in the MD-Pennsylvania area.

About Family

Being an only child, I'm very close to my parents. I'm also fortunate to be close to my extended family. Education is well-embraced by my family for generations. Both my parents are Ph.Ds. My dad is a Pharmaceutical Executive and my mom is a Health Science Administrator at the National Institutes of Health.

Looking for a life partner who echoes similar value system as mine -being family-oriented, a good human being with a kind heart, ambitious, well-educated,career- driven, and who is on the same wavelength as me. I enjoy the company of someone who can contribute to a fun-filled and intelligent conversation on a wide range of topics.
