She completed her under-grad in B.Tech ComputerScience from Bits-Pilani with distinction and has been working in Amazon since then. She started at the Amazon Bangalore center and is now working out of Seattle office as a Sr. SDE. She is also proficient in Indian classical dances and has diploma in Bharatanatyam and learnt Kathak from renowned teacher in Lucknow. Besides that, while growing up, she actively participated in sports, enjoyed swimming, represented school in debate teams etc.

A bit about our immediate family - I, her father, am an Electronics Engineer from IIT Roorkee (1983 Batch) and employed in a Government PSU as Dy. General Manager in Lucknow. Our extended family is well educated as well. Her nana was Chief Engineer in Electricity Board, Ranchi; her mama is a renowned Sr. Surgeon in Lucknow; her mausaji is an industrialist. Her cousins are all well educated, in senior leadership positions and settled all around the globe.

We are pure vegetarian and teetotaller family and preferably looking for the same in the groom.

Few lines from my daughter about herself -
I consider myself a simple and honest person. Growing up in my family, I got a modern perspective while still maintaining spiritual roots that helped me blend in best of both the worlds. Outside of work, I like being involved in some or the other activity like traveling to national parks, writing and dancing. Recently I started learning music (harmonium). I believe in the concept of "a healthy mind stays in a healthy body" and regularly practice yoga and meditation. I sometimes spend time on volunteer work as well. All in all, I am a jovial person and enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family and believe in giving back to the world. For the next couple of years, I hope to stay and explore countries outside India. Don't have any set plans of where to settle post that.
